The Lancia 037 is a Group B rally car, designed by Lancia and Abarth in the early 1980s. Derived from the Lancia Montecarlo, it received a 2.0-litre supercharged 4-cylinder engine (280–325 hp), a lightweight body, and remained rear-wheel drive while the competition switched to 4x4. Entered from 1982 to 1986, it won the manufacturers' world title in 1983, becoming the last rear-wheel drive world rally champion. Its Martini livery and poise made it an icon.
